There are many food machinery enterprises in our country, with small scale and low technological content. Only about 5% of domestic food packaging machinery enterprises have the production capacity of a complete set of packaging automation systems, which can compete with international enterprises such as Japan, Germany, Italy, etc. Most small-scale food enterprises can only rely on imported packaging machinery and equipment.
According to relevant data, from January to September 2013, the cumulative production of packaging specialized equipment in China was 76386 units, a year-on-year increase of 4.13%; The cumulative production of metal containers was 80618818 cubic meters, a year-on-year increase of 4.12%. There is a high demand for packaging machinery in China, but due to the inability of domestic packaging machinery technology to meet the needs of food enterprises, the import volume of domestic packaging machinery equipment has increased without decreasing.
The food machinery industry is a sunrise industry with enormous development potential. China is known as a large factory for future food processing. According to relevant data, China currently produces 1.2 million tons of canned fruits annually, with approximately 600000 tons exported to foreign countries, accounting for about 1/6 of the global market. In addition to the rigid social needs, the Chinese government has taken corresponding incentive measures to vigorously promote the transformation of food machinery enterprises, move towards industrialization, informatization, and marketization, and help enterprises overcome financial and technological difficulties.
